Welcome to [Alternate Route], an (in)appropriate place for your writing. We are open for submissions! However, note that [AR] has changed its publishing system--see new Submissions Guidelines for details. The basic jist is that we publish submissions on a rolling basis (now) to our Patreon (to give our authors/artists exposure), then publish a yearly/biyearly semi-quota-based paperback compilation once we have published enough pieces. [AR] is trying out a new system where we pay the artists a fraction of what we get through Patreon, to hold steadfast on our early founding promise to figure out how to make art/poetry/writing more equitable.
